Purchasing Manager – Czech and Slovakia Territory

Job Description

The Purchasing Manager for Czech and Slovakia is responsible for managing and overseeing all purchasing operations within the region. The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all purchasing activities align with the company’s objectives. This role is essential in optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies in line with company goals.
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers across Czechia and Slovakia.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Cooperate with the Logistics Manager to ensure timely delivery of products to maintain smooth operations.
• Oversee compliance with legal and internal Czech and Slovak regulations.
• Work closely with the Nordic headquarters, traveling to Sweden and Norway when required ( all expenses covered).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or procurement, with proven results in supplier management.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Slovak or Czech is also required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a broader international team.
• Familiarity with purchasing tools and systems.
• No formal education required, but relevant experience within purchasing is required.

SALARY

Salary for a purchasing position is 3.600eur per month with a generous bonus based on company monthly performance.
